Wireless going Green in China

Australia based Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization's (CSIRO), ICT Centre Wireless Technologies Laboratory is trying to make next generation of wireless communications in China that would be more environmentally friendly.

The centre will facilitate joint research projects between the two countries, the exchange of scientists and students, and the uptake of Australian wireless communications technologies by the world market, Clark said. Research priorities include advanced antennas, signal processing algorithms, and network protocols for next-generation broadband wireless communications networks. The Centre is a collaboration between CSIRO and the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
