The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has decided to install solar water heater systems in its medical institutions to save energy. A total of 62 solar water heaters will be installed at a cost of INR 2.64 crore at five major hospitals of MCD including Hindu Rao Hospital, Swami Dayanand Hospital and Kasturba Hospital. About 40 solar water heaters will be installed at various wards of Hindu Rao Hospital.
