Interactive Online Group by Yi, CII

Young Indians (Yi), a forum of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), plans to launch an online interactive platform for young people (below 40 years) of the country in another three months. Yi has a network of about 5,900 farmers and 3,200 students. The platform will also as an active platform to express opinions on topics of public interest. Yi will add a new dimension to its portfolio under Next Practices. Yi also plans to open chapters abroad.

Farmers associated with Yi are provided with weather alerts and prices of major agriculture commodities and crop advisory services via SMS. Yi has tied up with the US-based satellite connection provider, Express Weather, to send weather alerts. Farmers will be linked with each other via the internet through the upcoming interactive platform.
