For the best e-Governance initiatives in the country, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will receive a gold medal. In all Gujarat will receive five awards for the best use of information and technology services. The drug logisitic and management system of the health department is to get silver medal while e-Procurement of Induistries and Mines department, e- Krishi Kiran of Anand Agriculture University and Hospital management system of health department have respectively have been named for bronze medal.
The awards will be given by the Administrative reforms and public grievances and Information technology department of the Central government. The awards would be given away on February 12, 2009 at a function in Goa.
