Himachal Pradesh for its electronic gazette (e-gazette) project and Himachal Pradesh Police Web Portal (HIMPOL) for its 'outstanding performance in citizen centric service delivery', has bagged the National Award for e-governance 2008-2009 .
The award is being given away by Union governgment's Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances in collaboration with Department of Information Technology. The award will be given out on February 12, 2009 in the inaugural session of the 12th National Conference on e-governance 2008-2009.
