Computerisation of Arms License Accounts in India’s North-Eastern State – Nagaland

The Government of Nagaland (Northeast Indian State) launched the computerisation of arms license and account roll for Dimapur district. This initiative will help the people of the state to have easy access to records, renewal and to access data whenever there is any query on arms licenses.
The Dimapur DC Maongwati Aier said that this initiative under the e-Governance plans will help in minimising consumption of time, workload and to avoid human error while dealing on accountancy.
The National Informatics Centre (NIC) is part of the project for providing training to the staff for assisting the district administration in launching this programme.
NIC District Office in the state will be conducting the training of the staff for the purpose.
