R.L. Bhatia the Governor of Kerala said that the Government of Kerala (India) would set up a State Data Centre (SDC) at Technopark. The proposed SDC would provide further impetus to e-Governance activities and roll out total e-Governance solutions for the Commercial Taxes Department and the public distribution system. It would also develop an e-Waste policy and prepare Citizen's Charters for all departments.
Technopark is a technology park in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), Kerala, India dedicated to electronics, software, and other information technology ventures. It is the first technology park in India launched in 1990.
