Dubai Police have launched a new device which help motorists to pay their fines using credit cards in a safer and time-saving method. This movement will restructure the government organisations and departments in Dubai and provide electronic services under the umbrella of Dubai e-Government.
Motorists will be able to pay fines using credit cards at the traffic department or any Dubai police station or the website of Dubai e-Government www.dubai.ae. The device is installed in a keyboard, which directly reads the credit card's number and deducts the fine amount. Customers can also play their fines through payment centres or the voice system IVR, or kiosks in shopping malls in addition to Dubai Police's website to ease the payments of traffic fines.
