The Government of Haryana (India) has implemented the State Wide Area Network (SWAN) under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) of Union Department of Information Technology.

The network called ADAAR was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Haryana, Bhupinder Singh Hooda. He commented that the state government is committed to deliver quality services to the citizens across the state and to provide the benefits of innovative technologies and provide efficiency and productivity to the people of Haryana. The state government is creating state-of-the art infrastructure by the end of this year. With the implementation of this project, people and the government departments would be able to exchange information at a much faster rate on a service platform.
