IBM India has partnered with the Delhi International Airport Pvt. Limited (DIAL), India, to implement an enterprise resource planning system (ERP) at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) integrating and modernising the airport's business processes.
The ERP system will integrate all data and processes of the organization into a unified system. The system will also help the airport to collaborate better with its partners, customers, and external stakeholders. The solution will cover the airport's accounting, aviation/non-aviation related billing, customer relationship management, maintenance, real estate, and related data warehouse functions. Airport employees will also be able to complete tasks more easily and service travelers as one point of data entry would serve multiple purposes.
