Two-day conference on e-Tourism in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia on March 13, 2007

Malaysia Government is organising two-day conference to promote e-Tourism. Tourism and information technology ministers, Government Officials regional and international experts will meet on Kota Kinabalu to deliberate on Asia Pacific e-Tourism issues on March 13, 2007.

Malaysia Government is organising two-day conference to promote e-Tourism. Tourism and information technology ministers, Government Officials regional and international experts will meet on Kota Kinabalu to deliberate on Asia Pacific e-Tourism issues on March 13, 2007.

 

The conference will provide a forum to explore the use of ICT tools to promote tourism industry. The theme of the conference is 'Asia Pacific E-Tourism for Growth: Matching market efficiency and social inclusion', which will focus on ICT and its role in developing the tourism sector including “e-Payment” and “e-Branding”. United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (Unctad), Tourism Ministry of Malaysia are oragnising the conference jointly.
