The Nebraska court system of Omaha has launched its e-Filing initiative with the implementation of the technology at Sarpy and Lancaster County Courts.

Now, Litigants and their attorneys may file documents to the court electronically online. The system put in place uses LexisNexis File & Serve technology. Initially, the Nebraska court will launch two pilot projects to meet with court expectations for cost savings, efficiencies and better service. Soon, other Nebraska courts will institute similar e-Filing services.
