The Ministry of Defence has launched an online auction website, which allows the public of UK to bid for surplus Government equipment including Green Goddess fire-trucks.

The Disposal Sales Agency has extended its existing website to include an on-line action. Customers can bid and pay for ex–Government items online. Even they can bid through the website for items for items put up for sale by Government contractors. Additionally, the auction website will allow the public to buy equipment directly from contractors who supply the Government.
