New Delhi Govt. launches e-Governance Roadmap in Delhi, India

India's capital, New Delhi is taking its initiative steps in the direction of e-Governance. Delhi Government has launched E-Governance Roadmap (EGRM) for Delhi.

The first component of EGRM specifies the e-Governance Vision of the Delhi Government and strategies to achieve the development agenda of the state. The Government is prioritising e-Governance 'Initiatives' and 'Services', which would be rolled out in coming years. Government will provide services like G2C, G2B, G2G, G2E, G2N. Delhi Government is taking initiatives in various including health, education, welfare, infrastructure, finance, revenue, support and administration. The second component is Capacity Building Road Map (CBRM), which specifies the Institutional Capacities to support and roll our EGRM. Government is also recommending IT sectors to enhance training programmes or set up Centre of Excellence. The website also provides an online library facility for employees, with access to international magazines and books.
