The Malaysian Islamic Development Board (Jakim) website is the most popular among government agency.

Jakim has registered 99.56 million hits in the first half of the year. The Finance Ministry website is holding position with 14,309,102 hits, while the Ministry of International Trade and Industry website is holding third position by 10,340,803 hits. There are 900 government websites. According to the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Abdul Rahman, the penetration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Malaysia is wide. He claims that Malaysia is one of the among the Top Five countries in the use of ICT for e-Governance.
