International Development Research Center for Canada (IDRC) is supporting the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to implement the project entitled “Learning from Information and Communications Technology for Development (ICT4D) to enhance policymaking (Philippines)” to identify the impact of ICT on the Philippine society.
The ICT4D project, has supported the case study of documentation of ICT4D initiatives in the country for politics/governance empowerment social services like education, health, economic/livelihood and infrastructure/access. The ICT4D Project Steering Committee is holding the series of workshops on the impact of ICT in the areas of culture, religion, community based development, gender; Islam; emergency and disaster.
