The critical importance of Knowledge Management, Collaboration and Information Systems to social and economic development is steadily becoming acknowledged by wider Asian academic and business circles. Asia can be referred to as the cradle of civilization, where many of the most ancient languages first developed, where societies are inherently very close knit and ‘collaboration’ is a natural way of life.
