Tamil Nadu to launch e-Governance in December

He said in his statement that there is a new Government in place and the government is geared up to make Tamil Nadu for a destination of IT investments. His ministry would like to project Tamil Nadu as IT-friendly State in the coming months by launching e-Governance programme shortly. Regarding the implementation of the project he said Tamil Nadu is already topping the list in terms of e-Readiness. The state is launching e-Governance by December 2006.
