High Security number plates soon in Goa, India

The Transport department of the Goa Government has plans to implement High Security number plates in the state within the next two months. This is ager their smart card driving licences initiative.

The Transport department of the Goa Government has plans to implement High Security number plates in the state within the next two months.

The Transport Minister, Pandurang Madkaikar has said, “The procedure to start high security number plates is almost completed”. The transport department is framing new guidelines for motor driving schools in order to keep corruption under control. In order to do this the department would keep dual control vehicle at the respective Road Transport Offices when candidates comes to give driving tests.

The Power Minister of Goa, Digambar Kamat expressed satisfaction that the Transport department is implementing e-governance in its functioning and called upon the staff to change their attitude towards the common man.
