The Government of Jharkhand, India has made a tripartite agreement between the department of registration, department of information and technology and CMC Limited to computerise all the 29 registration offices in the state.

 

The Chief Minister of the state claimed that it was a major step towards good governance to maintain transparency. Registration and IT minister of the state hoped the landmark agreement would reduce land disputes. As per the agreement, the private service provider would prepare the site, install computers and man counters in all registration offices under the supervision of the concerned sub-registrar.
