Software for rain forecast in Tamil Nadu, India
A large volume of rainfall data from various locations and an Australian Rainman software package enabled scientists at the Department of Agricultural Meteorology, the Directorate of Soil and Crop Management Studies, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University to put together the seasonal rainfall forecast for the South West Monsoon.
