UTM-1 Total Security
UTM-1 Total Security appliances are all-inclusive, turn-key solutions that include everything needed to secure your network in a simple and cost-effective way. Each appliance includes a comprehensive set of security features along with complete security updates, hardware support, and discounted customer support for up to three years. Based on the same Check Point technologies that secure the Fortune 100, UTM-1 Total Security appliances deliver uncompromising security while streamlining deployment and administration. UTM-1 Total Security appliances offer a complete set of security features including firewall, intrusion prevention, antivirus, anti-spyware, messaging security, web application firewall, VoIP security, instant messaging (IM) and peer-to-peer (P2P) blocking, web filtering, as well as secure site-to-site and remote access connectivity.
UTM-1 Total Security is supported by SmartDefence Services, which maintain the most current preemptive security for the Check Point security infrastructure. Gateway antivirus, anti-spyware
Gateway antivirus and anti-spyware are core components of UTM-1. It uses an up-to-date list of antivirus and antispyware signatures and anomaly-based protection to stop viruses and other malware at the gateway. To check for threats hidden inside legitimate content, real-time antivirus scans are performed on POP3, SMTP, FTP, and HTTP services.
Messaging security
Uniquely, UTM-1 offers six dimensions of protection against messaging security threats including attacks against the messaging infrastructure, viruses and malware, and advanced forms of spam. Integrated e-mail IPS protects key e-mail server protocols to stop attacks against the messaging infrastructure.
