The West Bengal (WB), (India) Government is planning to invest INR 60 million in its e-Governance project. Later on, government is planning to implement this project in panchayat level.
India is progressing in e-Governance programmes. Recently, Bhoomi Kiosks has launched land record system, which will allow 7 million clients of Karnataka, India to access land records, their rights, tenancy or cultivation. Previously, land record system was manual and paper based system.
The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) are planning to launch commodity-specific electronic spot trading in mandis of different states of India.
