The collaboration between the Indian and Australian universities will boost the government’s planning to align countrywide online network of educational institutions with its American counterpart.
The Indian Government is planning to spend more than INR 7000 crore every year to purchase computers and IT enabled services. The Government is planning to make it mandatory for all departments to allocate 2-3% of their total planned expenditure on IT and IT-related services.
The Orissa Government (India) has launched a new website as part of its e-governance initiative in the state.
Around 250 odd eSeva centres would be merged with the numerous Rajiv Internet Village centres covering rural areas and APOnline. These eSeva centres are serving citizens in 15 cities and 111 towns through a variety of consumer services, while Rajiv Internet Village centres are offering data on various Government activities.
