The Ministry of Communication, Ghana inaugurated the Pan-African E-Network project in Accra in collaboration with the Government of India. The project is supposed to connect all the 53 nations of the African Union (AU) by a satellite and fiber-optic network.
Now, the government ministries and departments of Uganda will be connected to each other through teleconferencing. According to a statement issued by the Information Communication Technology ministry, the network is being refined and will be officially launched in Kampala soon.
