E-payment of service tax is made mandatory
The Central Board of Excise and Customs of Ministry of Finance,Government of India has decided to make electronic payment of service tax mandatory for certain service tax assessees.
Nasscom plans for more cyber labs
In the wake of the increasing number of cyber crimes in India, the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) has made a plan to set up three more cyber labs, complementing the existing two centre in Mumbai and Thane, to strengthen the investigation skills of enforcement agencies.
