The Madhya Pradesh government has implemented a minor reshuffle in the police department, transferring and appointing Superintendents of Police (SPs) in four key districts.

Among the new appointments, IPS Deepak Kumar Shukla (2014 batch), previously serving as SP Vidisha, has been named the new SP of Sehore. Meanwhile, IPS Rohit Kashwani (2017 batch) has been transferred from Tikamgarh to assume the role of SP Vidisha. IPS Manohar Singh Mandloi, previously stationed with the 29th Battalion, Special Armed Force in Datia, has been made the new SP of Tikamgarh.

Former SP Sehore, Mayank Awasthi (2012 batch), has been moved to AIG PHQ. The reshuffle, especially in districts adjacent to Bhopal, had been anticipated due to ongoing speculation after recent transfers of district collectors under the Mohan government.
