- FDI Inflows: Since 2014, India has drawn $667.4 billion in FDI, a 119% rise compared to the previous decade, with $165.1 billion pouring into manufacturing.
- PLI Impact: The Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme has attracted ₹1.32 lakh crore ($16 billion) in investments, boosted manufacturing output to ₹10.90 lakh crore ($130 billion), and created over 8.5 lakh jobs.
- Exports and Employment: Merchandise exports exceeded $437 billion in FY 2023-24, with a 64.4 million workforce in manufacturing, up from 57 million in 2017-18.
- Ease of Doing Business: India’s rank soared from 142 in 2014 to 63 in 2019, with over 42,000 compliance reductions and 183 decriminalised provisions.
Key Reforms

- Semiconductor Growth: The ₹76,000 crore Semicon India Program supports every segment of the semiconductor ecosystem.
- PM Gatishakti & National Logistics Policy: Transformational steps to reduce logistics costs and improve multimodal infrastructure, enhancing India’s global competitiveness.
- Industrial Corridors & ODOP: The development of 11 industrial corridors and the promotion of Indigenous products through the One-District-One-Product initiative strengthen local economies.
