
The Chhattisgarh government has transferred key IAS and IPS officers in a minor yet significant bureaucratic move.
Vijay Dayaram, Bastar Collector and a 2015-batch IAS officer has been removed from his post due to concerns over his performance. The decision came after a comprehensive review meeting led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, which focused on improving administrative efficiency in Bastar.
Harish S, also a 2015-batch IAS officer and formerly Sukma Collector, will assume the position of Bastar Collector. Devesh Kumar Dhruv, a 2018-batch IAS officer and Bhilai Municipal Corporation Commissioner will take over as Sukma Collector.

In a parallel reshuffle of IPS officers, Girijashankar Jaiswal, a 2010-batch IPS officer, has been removed from his post as Superintendent of Police in Mungeli. He will be replaced by Bhojraj Patel, a 2013-batch IPS officer, who will take over as the new police chief of Mungeli.
