
In a significant bureaucratic overhaul, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet implemented several key transfers and appointments on Friday. The reshuffle includes the following changes:
Indra Mallo (IAS: 1999: MH) assumes office as the Joint Secretary of the National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC), succeeding Sudhanshu Gupta (IFoS: 1989: TN), for a term until February 27, 2027.
Krishan Kumar (IAS: 2002: OD) takes charge as the Managing Director of the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (NHIDCL) under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, replacing Chanchal Kumar (IAS: 1992: BH), for a tenure until March 8, 2027.

Apparao Veerelli (IRSS: 1993) appointed as the CEO of the Development & Welfare Board for Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBDNCs) under the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment until his superannuation on August 31, 2028.

Akhilesh Misra (IRSME: 1995) named as the Executive Director (Personnel) of the Food Corporation of India (Hqrs) for a term of five years, succeeding Bijay Kumar Singh (IPS: 1996: KN).

Anand Kumar Jha (IFoS: 1992: AP) appointed as the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Cooperation for a period of five years, replacing Abhay Kumar Singh (IAS: 2004: BH).
Bhavna Saxena (IPS: 1996: AP) assumed the role of Joint Secretary of the Ministry of AYUSH until February 15, 202, succeeding Rahul Sharma (IAS: 1998: JH).
Madhukar Kumar Bhagat (IRS IT: 1995) appointed as the Joint Secretary of the Department of Health & Family Welfare for a tenure of five years, succeeding Sachin Mittal (IPoS: 2000).
Meera Srivastava (IRS IT: 1999) named as the Joint Secretary of the Department of Health & Family Welfare for a term of five years, succeeding Gayatri Mishra (CSS).
Shreeshail Malge (IRAS: 2002) appointed as the Joint Secretary of the Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship for a term of five years, replacing Krishna Kumar Dwivedi (IAS: 1996: AM).

Anjali Sinha (IRSME: 1997) assumes office as the Joint Secretary of the Department of Atomic Energy for a tenure of five years, succeeding Sanjay Kumar (IRAS: 1989).
