In a significant administrative overhaul, the Pinarayi Vijayan-led state government of Kerala has announced the transfer and posting of six collectors in various districts.

The reshuffle includes the following key appointments:
Divya S Iyer Named Managing Director of Vizhinjam Port: The government has appointed 2014 batch IAS officer Divya S Iyer as the Managing Director of Vizhinjam Port. Ms. Iyer, who was previously serving as the District Collector of Pathanamthitta, will take over the role. She has also been given the additional responsibility of overseeing the Solid Waste Management Project.

Adeela Abdullah Removed as Port Inauguration Nears: In a surprising move, 2012 batch IAS officer Adeela Abdullah, who held the position of Managing Director of Vizhinjam Port, has been removed from her post just two days before the official inauguration of the port.

Shibu A Appointed as Pathanamthitta Collector: Shibu A, an IAS officer from the 2019 batch and the executive director of the Social Security Mission, will assume the role of Pathanamthitta Collector.

Haritha V Kumar Takes Over as Director of Mining and Geology Department: Alappuzha District Collector Haritha V Kumar, a 2013 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Director of the Mining and Geology Department. In her place, 2015 batch IAS officer John V Samuel, who previously served as the director of the Groundwater Department, will become the new Alappuzha collector.

V R Premkumar Appointed Panchayat Director: Malappuram collector V R Premkumar, a 2014 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Panchayat Director. His position will be taken over by 2015 batch IAS officer V R Vinod, who currently serves as the Food Safety Commissioner.

New Food Safety Commissioner Afsana Parveen: Afsana Parveen, a 2014 batch IAS officer, will assume the role of Food Safety Commissioner.

Devi Das N Becomes Kollam Collector: 2015 batch IAS officer Devi Das N, who was previously the director of the Mining and Geology Department, has been appointed as the new Kollam collector.

Arun K Vijayan Named Kannur Collector: Arun K Vijayan, an IAS officer from the 2016 batch and the Entrance Examination Commissioner, has been appointed as the Kannur collector.

Snehil Kumar Singh Takes Over as Kozhikode Collector: Snehil Kumar Singh, a 2016 batch IAS officer who previously served as the staff officer of the Chief Secretary, has been appointed as the new Kozhikode collector.
