In a recent development, the government of Uttar Pradesh has undertaken a minor administrative reshuffle, resulting in the reassignment of three senior IAS officers. As per the official directives, N Ravindra, a seasoned officer from the 1999 batch, has assumed the position of Commissioner of Aligarh, a significant administrative role.
Navdeep Rinwa, also belonging to the 1999 batch of IAS officers, has taken over the crucial responsibilities of Chief Election Officer for the state of Uttar Pradesh. Rinva brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously held the positions of District Magistrate and Divisional Commissioner across multiple districts in Uttar Pradesh. Notably, since 2022, he has successfully undertaken the role of Commissioner in both the Meerut and Ayodhya divisions.
Concurrently, Ajay Kumar Shukla, a distinguished member of the 2001 IAS batch, has been designated as the Secretary of Urban Development. Shukla’s impressive career trajectory includes prior service as the Chief Election Officer, further underscoring his expertise in administrative matters.
