Addressing Elets AatmaNirbhar Bharat Summit held in April, last year, T. Bhoobalan, who was then Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Panchayat in Bagalkot said, “We have successfully revitalized over 150 tanks and created new ones, as well as other small water bodies such as ponds, open wells, and more. Water conservation is a crucial and important subject, and it is essential to understand its significance from a basic level. In the past, we never anticipated the need to rely on bottled water, but now we have adopted more commercialized methods of conserving water, making the availability and quality of water more complex. However, instead of delving into the complexities, I would like to focus on my experience in the Bagalkot district.”

With his diverse background and expertise, the new Deputy Commissioner is poised to make a significant impact on the administration and development of Vijayapura district. His appointment marks a pivotal moment in the district’s governance and is expected to bring about positive changes under his leadership.
