RS Praveen Kumar takes voluntary retirement, Ronald Rose to take charge of TSWREIS

The Government of Telangana, on July 20, nodded to the voluntary retirement of RS Praveen Kumar, a senior IPS officer, and relieved him from his duties with immediate effect. Kumar was serving as Secretary of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) and Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TTWREIS). He has served for over eight years and handed over his resignation on July 19, six years ahead of his superannuation.


The state government has assigned senior IAS officer Ronald Rose to succeed Kumar. Rose has been given the additional charge of TSWREIS until the regular arrangement. Ronald is servings as Special Secretary, Finance.

As per the order issued by Chief Secretary of the state Somesh Kumar, “Under All India Services (DCRB) Rules, 1958, Dr RS Praveen Kumar has been permitted to take voluntary retirement and is relieved from duties with immediate effect.”
