Aramane Giridhar, an IAS officer of 1988-Batch, has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Chairman, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). Giridhar will hold the position till any officer is appointed on a regular basis or until further orders. Giridhar is presently serving as Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH).
