Praveen Pardeshi quits State posts to join Centre’s NCBC within hours of appointment

A senior IAS officer of 1985-Batch, Praveen Pardeshi joined the Centre’s National Capacity Building Commission as member, administration, on June 30. This took place hours after Pardeshi was appointed as Additional Chief Secretary for the Marathi language by the Government of Maharashtra.

In his appointment with the Centre, Pardeshi will be responsible for coordinating with and supervising all the government offices and training institutes to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the Centre’s plans and create shared resources.

Also, the commission will provide assistance to the Prime Minister’s Public Human Resources Council in approving the annual capacity building plans and will make necessary recommendations. Moreover, the commission will come up with suggestions on policy reforms required for improving human resource management and building capacities of civil servants.
