The Government of Haryana, on May 27, relieved a senior IAS officer Deepti Umashankar (IAS 1993-Batch) for for appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India. Umashankar will be at the disposal of the Centre as she will assume her newly appointed charge on May 31, 2021.
Currently, she is holding multiple charges including Principal Secretary, Monitoring and Coordination Department; Commissioner, Ambala Division, Ambala; and Chairperson, Haryana State Pollution Control Board.
