Maharashtra Govt reshuffles 4 IAS officers

The Government of Maharashtra, on January 13, issued official transfer orders of as many as four IAS officers causing a minor administrative rejig in the state.


  1. Arvind Kumar (IAS 1985-Batch), Managing Director, MPCL, Mumbai, has been transferred and appointed as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Co-Operation, Marketing and Textile Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai.

  1. Tukaram Mundhe (IAS 2005-Batch) has been transferred and given the charge of Secretary, State Human Rights Commission, Mumbai.

  1. DB Gawade (IAS 2007-Batch) has been posted as Joint Secretary, Public Health Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai.


  1. Uday Jadhav (IAS 1999-Batch), currently serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Navi Mumbai, has been appointed as Secretary, Maharashtra State Child Rights Commission, Mumbai.
