Following a go-ahead from the Government of Gujarat for a major bureaucratic rejig, 18 IPS officers have been transferred in the state.

1. TS Bisht (1985-Batch), the present Director General (DG) – Civil Defence and Command General – Home Guards, Ahmedabad, Gujarat has now been appointed as DG, CID (Crime and Railways), Gandhinagar.

2. Sanjay Srivastava (1987-Batch) serving as the DG, CID (Crime and Railways), Gandhinagar has now been given the charge of Commissioner of Police (CP), Ahmedabad.

3. Ajay Kumar Tomar (1989-Batch) has been made CP, Surat. Tomar is presently serving as Special CP Crime, Ahmedabad.

4. Dr Shamsher Singh (1991-Batch) has been posted as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Technical Services and SCRB, Gandhinagar.

5. Dr Neerja Gotru Rao (1991-Batch) has been made the DG – Civil Defense and Command General – Home Guards, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

6. RB Brahmbhatt (1995-Batch) has been posted as CP Vadodara.

7. Dr Prafulla Kumar Roshan (1996-Batch) has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) of Police (armed unit), Rajkot.

8. Anupam Singh Gahlaut (1997-Batch) has been posted on ex-cadre post of IG police – Intelligence, Gandhinagar. Gahlaut is also holding the charge of Executive Director, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd., Vadodara.

9. Amit Kumar Vishwakarma (1998-Batch) has been given the charge of Joint CP, Ahmedabad and is also holding the additional charge of  ADGP – (ATS and Coastal Security) Ahmedabad.

10. Brajesh Kumar Jha (1999-Batch) has been posted on ex-Cadre post of IG Administration, Gandhinagar.

11. KG Bhati (1999-Batch) has been made IG of Police – Ahmedabad Range, Ahmedabad.

12. Ajay Kumar Chaudhari (1999-Batch) has been appointed as ex-Cadre Joint CP (Admin), Ahmedabad. Chaudhuri is also holding the additional charge of the Joint CP (Headquarters), Ahmedabad.

13. SG Trivedi (1999-Batch) has been made IG, CID (Crime and Railways) Gujarat, Gandhinagar.

14. AD Chudasama (1999-Batch) has been posted as IG, Gandhinagar Range, Gandhinagar. Chudasama has been relieved of nhis additional charge of Joint Director, Civil Defence, Ahmedabad.

15. HG Patel (1999-Batch)  has been appointed as IG Vadodara Range, Vadodara and has been relieved of his current attachment with office of CP Surat.

16. Nipuna M Torawane (2000-Batch) has been given the charge of Secretary, Home Department Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar.

17. JR Mothaliya (2001-Batch) has been posted as IG Border Range, Bhuj.

18. MA Chawda (2001-Batch) has been made Joint CP – Traffic, Ahmedabad.
