Uttar Pradesh Government transfers 5 officers; Mahendra Agrawal made Ayodhya Commissioner

Uttar Pradesh government led by Yogi Adityanath on Friday transferred five IAS officers in a recent bureaucratic reshuffle.


Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department Secretary Mahendra Prasad Agrawal will be the Ayodhya Circle Commissioner from November, according to the order.

Transport Department Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar has been posted as Chief Secretary, Energy and Additional Energy Source Department, President of UPPCL, Hydro-electricity Corporation and Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Products Corporation.

Rajesh Kumar Singh who is presently Chief Secretary, NRI Department, Public Enterprises Department and Director-General of Public Enterprises Bureau, will be replacing Kumar as the new Transport Department Chief Secretary.


Singh would be replaced by Alok Kumar who is currently Chief Secretary, Energy and Additional Energy Source Department.

Abrar Ahmed who is presently Secretary of RERA has been appointed as Special Secretary, Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply Department and Mission Director of Namami Gange Programme.
