In the recent Uttar Pradesh bureaucratic reshuffle, Akshay Tripathi has been given the charge of Municipal Commissioner, Kanpur Nagar Nigam.

Earlier, Tripathi was posted as Chief Development Officer, Kanpur. In the past, He has held the posts of Chief Development Officer, Ayodhya. He has also been posted as Joint Magistrate, Jalaun and Assistant Magistrate, Etawah.

Tripathi holds B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
