Kanpur District Magistrate and Collector Vijay Vishwas Pant (2004-Batch) has been given additional charge as Vice Chairman, Kanpur Development Authority.
The order was issued on Thursday, along with the transfers and additional posting of 25 IAS and 22 IPS officers.

Pant has held the posts of Special Secretary and Staff Officer to the Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Managing Director, Western Electric Distribution Corporation, Chief Development Officer, Varanasi and Joint Magistrate, Saharanpur.
