
In a significant reshuffle at Delhi Police department, two special commissioners, and three joint commissioners and two Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) rank officers have been given new portfolios.
RP Upadhyay, the 1991-Batch IPS officer, has been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP).
He was posted as Special Commissioner, Law and Order (South) since last year.

Updhyay’s position will now be assumed by RS Krishnia, a 1989-Batch IPS officer. He was posted as Special Commissioner Vigilance and Licensing and earlier as Joint Commissioner of south-eastern range in 2010.

Muktesh Chander, 1998-Batch IPS officer, is likely to be transferred from Goa to Delhi as Traffic Chief.

Joint Commissioner Ravindra Yadav, who was earlier heading the Crime Branch, has been transferred to the Operations Unit from eastern range.
Joint Commissioner (Traffic) Alok Kumar will replace Yadav K Jagdesan, a 1998-Batch officer, IPS, who has been transferred to traffic unit as Joint Commissioner.
Suman Goyal, a 2005-Batch IPS officer has been posted as Additional Commissioner (Vigilance).
Bhisham Singh, DCP (Crime) has been transferred to north-west district.
