Tech Mahindra and AION to buy InterGlobe Technologies

Tech Mahindra and AION Capital are in the final talks to buy the InterGlobe Technologies.

Tech Mahindra and AION is a joint venture between global buyout investor Apollo and ICICI Venture.

InterGlobe Technologies is the IT and back office arm of InterGlobe Enterprises, which is running the IndiGo airlines.

Tech Mahindra wants to expand its horizon in travel and hospitality domain.Retail, transport and logistics is already contributing 6.2 percent to the company’s revenue.


InterGlobe Technologies has more than 60 customers across the travel category, and is clicking a revenue of  $170-200 million.

 It optimises technology and customer experiences for leading airlines, cruises and hotel chains around the world through 14 delivery centres employing 10,000 staff approximately.
