Pallavi Akurathi, the 2009-batch IAS officer, has been transferred by the Government of Punjab as part of bureaucratic reshuffle.
She also worked previously in Karnataka as the commissioner of Gulbarga City Corporation.

The reshuffle has been done across the State of Punjab. It also includes 100 PCS officers. Several deputy commissioners of districts have been reshuffled along with change of guard of key departments of the state.
