In a major development, the Government of Punjab has transferred 47 IAS officers and 100 PCS officers that happened across the State. Several deputy commissioners of districts have been reshuffled along with change of guard of key departments of the state.
Veerinder Kumar Meena is the new Secretary Higher Education and Languages while Dipinder Singh, IAS, 1997-batch is the new Commissioner Patiala Division and Secretary Revenue and Rehabilitation. Vikas Garg is Registrar Cooperative Societies. Harjeet Singh is Commissioner Faridkot Division.
Varun Roojam, who was earlier project director NHM and Special Secretary Health and Family Welfare , is the new MD Markfed. Kavita Singh is new Director Tourism and Cultural Affairs in place of Shivdular Singh Dhillon. Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal is the new DC Ferozepur.
Diprava Lakhra will be the new Municipal Commissioner, Jalandhar in place of Basant Garg. Jaskiran Singh, earlier Municipal Commissioner Ludhiana, is now the Director Rural Development and Panchayat. Kanwalpreet Brar, DC Fatehgarh Sahib will now be the new Municipal Commissioner Ludhiana.
Tejinder Singh Dhaliwal is the new State Transport Commissioner in place of M Arvind Kumar. Amit Kumar, DC Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar will be the new project director NHM in place of Varun Roojam. Shivdular Singh Dhillon is the new DC Fatehgarh Sahib and in addition CEO Punjab State Civil Aviation Council. Vinay Bublani is the new DC Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.
Vipul Ujwal is the new DC Gurdaspur, Rambir is DC Pathankot, Isha is DC Hoshiarpur, Apneet Rayat is DC Mansa, Sumeet Jarangal is DC Roopnagar, Vimal Kumar Setia is Labour Commissioner, Puneet Goyal is special secretary health and family welfare.
