DigitalOcean, an American cloud infrastructure provider headquartered in New York, introduced Block Storage in its India datacentre.

The storage will help developers build and store applications more easily.
The scalable SSD-based offering enables developers to easily attach extra disk space to DigitalOcean Droplets (cloud servers), the company said in a statement.
DigitalOcean had launched its first datacentre in Bengaluru last June.
