Tapan Ray, a 1982 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre, has been given an additional charge of Secretary in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, with effect from October 14, 2015. He will be holding the charge till October 27, 2015, as Sunil Arora, who is Secretary, I&B, will be on leave during the period.
At present, Ray is serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
