Atul Sobti, 54, has assumed charge as Director (Power) at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a Maharatna Public Sector engineering and manufacturing enterprise.
Prior to this, he was Executive Director (Power) at BHEL in New Delhi, and also held additional charge of Industrial Systems Group (ISG), a Bangalore-based unit of the equipment maker.
Sobti is a mechanical engineer with post-graduation in International Management. He possess an experience of 33 years in various BHEL divisions, including International Operations.
