The incumbent Secretary, Ministry of Culture, NK Sinha, has been given the additional charge of Ministry of Tourism. Sinha is a 1980 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre. He will be replacing Lalit K Panwar, who is a 1979 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre and superannuated on July 31, 2015.
